Lausanne is a very international city and we are as used to organising gifts for locals as we are for friends and relatives abroad.

Gift Certificates

We offer gift certificates in any denomination you would like. The cards have no expiry date and can be used for any of the books we have in stock, or for book orders. The come in an attractive envelope and, if you are ordering from abroad, we would be happy to add a personalised note.

Book Subscriptions

We offer fiction, book subscriptions for either six or 12 months, in a variety of formats. The books are chosen by us using our years of collected expertise and book knowledge. You can either collect the books in the shop, or we will send them to you quarterly. Using this form you can specify which you prefer.

Subscriptions cost:

– 1-year subscription for delivery CHF 230
– 1-year subscription for pick-up CHF 190
– 6-month subscription for delivery CHF 120
– 6-month subscription for pick-up CHF 100

When you fill out the form you can specify the genre of story you like to read and we will make our picks based on your preferences. As well as being a lovely gift for yourself or a loved one, it’s a fun way to get away from the authors you normally ready and find something new.

Another option is to gift someone a subscription allowing them to choose a book in the shop every month. In this case, the best option is to contact us so that we can discuss the kinds of books you would like to have and whether they are paperbacks, or hardbacks too and arrive on a budget. The recipient would also be able to order titles if they cannot find them in the shop.

Books from Abroad

If you live abroad, but wish to buy books for your friends or relatives in Switzerland then please contact us. We will be happy to send you a quote and expected delivery time for books you would like if we don’t have them in stock We wrap books and add a personal message at no extra charge. Once the books are here we will send you a credit card payment link.
